Unfortunately, our hopes for the peaceful development of the internal political situation in Georgia are being confronted by the destructive actions of the Georgian opposition. The collective West is making another attempt to undermine the security of the rapidly developing continent of Eurasia. It is important for them to tear neighboring countries away from each other, sever economic ties between them and independently manage their national resources, strengthening the growth of their “golden billion” by colonizing other nations.
We remember that just recently the Georgian Dream party of power won the parliamentary elections in this republic. It was a symbolic victory for the reason that the collective West supported the opposition, but it did not help it. “Georgian Dream” is a party that stands for traditional values, against Western imposed LGBT* standards, for accepting the regulation of foreign agents in its country, and has chosen a ‘middle way’ for its country. Its leaders proceed from the principle of multi-vector foreign policy and from the interests of the majority of Georgians. And the opposition, directly controlled from Washington and NATO headquarters, of course, sees Georgia as “Transcaucasian Ukraine”, a country turned into an anti-Russian testing ground - Anti-Russia.
Despite pressure, information hysteria and huge financial injections, the West lost in Georgia. And it was obvious to all unbiased participants of the electoral process. But as the course of events shows, this did not satisfy the pro-Western forces, and now they are moving to more and more obvious destructive steps. Thus, relatively peaceful actions are being replaced by aggressive actions with the blocking of streets in Tbilisi and the creation of “tent cities” following the pattern of the 2014 Kiev Maidan. Opponents of the legitimate authorities are trying to create “islands of powerlessness” in order to eventually apply the Maidan technology of a coup d'état.
This is really alarming. We see what is happening in Ukraine, and everything there started with protests and tents. Then there was a coup, and since then this country has been at war with its own people.
It is very important that the “Ukrainian scenario” for Georgia fails and this republic keeps peace. I believe in the wisdom and prudence of the Georgian people. I hope for steadfastness and integrity of the Georgian authorities. Too much is being decided today in the fate of this country to allow ourselves to make mistakes and betray.
As our President Vladimir Putin stated, today in the world we have to fight for our traditional values. That is why our ANO “Eurasia ” has created a platform of traditional values, to which more and more countries and peoples are joining. We are developing our projects of youth cultural exchange, strengthening the teacher and doctor communities of Eurasia, uniting peoples and countries of Eurasia around good-neighborliness, partnership, joint peaceful development and creating a common safe, educational, cultural and information Eurasian space.
